Reice studied BSc Microbiology at University of Glasgow, graduating in 2019. Her interest in biotechnology then led her to the IBioIC MSc Industrial Biotechnology course. Through this, she secured her role in Seaweed Bioprocessing in Oban in the Scottish Highlands. She joined NexaBiome in June 2023, where in addition to her laboratory project work, she values time contributing to staff wellbeing initiatives. Her main research interests are production scale-up and bacteriophage characterisation. In her spare time, she enjoys playing hockey and playing boardgames with friends.
