After completing his PhD at the University of Glasgow, Gordon was hired as the second lab-based employee at what was Fixed Phage joining in late 2011. Initially assisting with the projects, Gordon has since grown within the company into the Principal Scientist where he has led multiple successful collaborative and development projects.
As Principal Scientist, Gordon is responsible for Health and Safety, Wellbeing and technical OKR’s for all departments as well as working with the Quality team to ensure all NexaBiome work is produced to the high standards required for application of phage in human health.
When not having fun with his two boys, Gordon enjoys organising recreational football matches, a good board game and the care and breeding of saltwater fish.
